Ceragem Vice President, Lee Wang-gu received a Presidential Award at the 50th Annual Trade Day ceremony. 

Vice President Lee was recognized for his contribution to nation’s economic growth by increasing overseas export. He has been a core contributor to Ceragem’s success in both domestic and overseas market since the beginning of the company back in 1998. He achieved a remarkable sales record of 300 billion won (approximately USD ) in 2008. Vice President Lee always took the initiative in achieving the goal for the 1stplace of the global market share in the thermal massager field from sales of Ceragem’s representative product (Thermal Spine Massager) to all over the world with his indomitable pioneer spirit and differentiated marketing method.

In the early stage of business, Vice President Lee Wang-gu, as a director of business in Jeollanam-do, showed his outstanding organizational skill and leadership resulted in high sales revenue. Later he was assigned to Chile to develop new markets in South America. There he strived to expand distribution channel in the Central and South American markets and develop a stable business environment. As a result, Ceragem gained a concrete foothold for growth in the South American market where there was a big geographical and cultural difference.

Mr. Lee Wang-gu was appointed to vice president of Ceragem’s India Headquarters last year and he renewed the highest sales record. Currently, Vice President Lee is also in charge of global business. He is making an effort to achieve Ceragem’s vision, “World Best Health Care Partner” contributing to happy and healthy world.

In addition, Mr. Yu Sang-hun from the production team received the Minister Award from the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy at the Trade Day Ceremony for recognition of contribution to increase in production and export by improving quality problem and production process. Yu played a key role in securing smooth flow of production for overseas export by improving process system and stability in quality. He contributed to Ceragem Thermal Massager to be nominated as World Best Product for 12 years in a row since 2002.

Ceragem developed Automatic Thermal Massager for the first time in the world.
